Installing The Latest Satellite Software and Drivers
At times our programs are updated so we
suggest that if you have lost or have older setup disks that you Download
and SAVE the latest software somewhere on your computer or burn
them to a disk so that you can easily find them. We would suggest
that you place them in their own directory so that when you Unzip the
files they will not get
mixed together.

This is the Server4PC or Signal program and includes the latest
drivers for both the PCI and the USB modems.

Step 1: Unzip or uncompress the programs.
Step 2: Install the Satellite Modem... you will then be asked for
the drivers. If
the modem is already in place and you are not prompted for the drivers,
you can
probably skip this step. If you prefer to install or update to the
newly downloaded
drivers then follow these steps:

From
your Windows Control Panel select "Network Connections"
-
From
Network Connections RIGHT click on the Local Area Connection named
"B2C2 Broadband Receiver"

At the
General tab select "Properties"
-
Select
"Configure"
-
Select
the "Driver" tab
-
Select
the "Update" button which will open the "Hardware Update Wizard"
-
At the
question of looking to Microsoft for the drivers select "No, not at
this time"
-
Select
"Install from a list or specific location"
-
Browse
to wherever you SAVED and Unzipped the drivers files... like the "Satellite
Drivers" folder and select "next" The drivers should load in a matter of seconds.
Step 3: Open the setup program for the BroadBand for PC
application.

Step 4: Open the installation program for the StarConnect
application.

Step 5: Restart your computer.
Step 6: Click here for
the latest Transponder and Frequency settings.
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ALIGN OR TUNE IN YOUR DISH WITHOUT THE CORRECT
SETTINGS.
Step 7: Last Step. After you have installed your software
please call us at
1-866-364-5347 for the latest MAC IP settings specific to your account.
You will
not be able to surf without this configuration.
Note: You may
need to restart your computer for any changes to take affect.
