Due to recent upgrades
to the Starconnect system, on July 1st, 2008 between 7 am and 8 am EST, all users will need to make
a minor change to their Transponder Settings in order to avoid any interruption in service.
The changes are very easy to do and will take an average of one minute to perform.

If you have any questions or are unable to obtain a signal after making the changes,
please call 800-610-0174 ext. 5. This is a special extension specifically to help anyone having trouble getting back online.
Installing The Latest Satellite Software and Drivers
Our satellite system consists of the physical
hardware (dish and satellite modem) and 3 software programs consisting
of the Drivers for the PCI or USB Satellite modems,
the Broadband for PC program that runs the physical Satellite card or
adapter, and
the StarConnect software that creates a Virtual Satellite adapter.

Loss of Signal.

signal does not happen often but when it does there are several steps
you can take to pinpoint the source of the problem.

Setup4PC - Data Services - Missing Transponder Setting.
Your Signal
Icon may be Green or Red until settings are changed each time you
restart computer. Either way... you are not able to surf the web.
Check to make sure a Transponder is still listed in the Data Services
area of the Setup4PC control panel.
